Spring Walking Tour!  Led by Bob Inman              Saturday, April 2, 2016, 1pm to 3:30pm

 

Join the Living Museum for a walking tour of Mt Washington. Involves hilly terrain and stairs. Bob Inman, urban hiking expert, will lead a fascinating walk through a portion his ambitious 220-mile Urban Trail project that connects Mountains to Ocean across the stair streets and sidewalks of Los Angeles. During this tour we will explore Mt Washington environs and talk about the cultural and natural resources found along the route. 

 

Special Bonus: we arranged, for this tour only, to have a secret, never used path to be unlocked, allowing us enchanting access to the Southwest Museum and 12 acres of sweeping views. Special thanks to the Autry Museum.
 
Wear shoes good for both pavement and dirt path. Please hydrate and carry water. This tour requires a certain level of endurance, requires walking up several flights of stairs and some hilly terrain.

Sycamore Grove Walking Tours by the Highland Park Heritage Trust

This walking tour explores the rich and varied architectural and social history of the Sycamore Grove area of Highland Park, one of Los Angeles’ oldest neighborhoods.
